Bird House.

I like bird houses, there's something quite sweet about them...like they could be the home of a bird who nests inside it. The bird houses link with my ideas of minature models, like my village, and also the dolls houses which interest me.

A bird house can be simple and pretty straight forward, afterall they are simply there for the purpose of being a place for the birds to eat their food.
A bird house can be so much more than this though! i imagine the houses like an actual home, where the birds can rest and get comfy on the carpet floors, i'm going to get started on making some bird houses and see if any birds enjoy them!

NQ STREET PARTY

I'm helping out with the Northern Quarter street party, a woman call carole is organisng a street party in celebration of the royal wedding! the theme is a village fete...pretty much like Bangers&Fash! i think i'm making bunitn for this party, i've done a bit of it but i need to do lots more in time for friday.

This is a tourist attraction place in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire...it looks amazing!! The model village I'm creating at the moment is very similar to the one in this park, only my houses are a bit smaller. i'm planning a visit to here next month and i can't wait!

This is the village i've been making, I've taken it to photograph outside...i think the small scale of the houses against the real grass can make the viewer question the perspective of the object.
