A Town Called Panic by Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar

This is another animation which is a form of chuckimation...
I like it, but I think there is something more humourus about Action League Now! and it also relates closely with my own animation.

Stop motion/CHUKIMATION

I've been researching how it is exactly animations like Action League Now! is created.

It appears as though the toys are magically moving on there own..with no strings attatched. Though obviously that couldn't happen, so I assumed the scenes have been made with hundreds of camera frames, each photograph capturing a tiny movement, and then the frames are pieced togther to make a very realistic moving toy scene.

Action Leauge Now! has been been created using stop motion and something called chukimation...whereby there's a combination of photographs and also live action film.

To learn this,really excites me because that's exactly ho i've been maing my village animation...i hope it turns out something like this!!

I think i should have used more frames in the animation, because now looking back it will probably be a very short film..maybe 2 mminutes. Though i think the thought process and effort will show in the end.

I've been looking for this show for agesssssssssssssssssssssssss, it used to be on nickelodeon when i was little, but i just could not remmeber the name of it it. I remembered that it was very related to the art im into at the moment. i've been making an animation with my village, and in the back of my head i've always had this nickelodeon animation giving me inspiration, and NOW i've found it, so i'm VERY HAPPY INDEED !

I found this book in Magma, it's by Laim Bailey, the photgraphs have been taken in Beckonscot model village...where I'm going in a couple of weeks!
the book looks so exciting, i'm going to have a look if it's in the store on oldham street, and i will buy it!

Bird House.

I like bird houses, there's something quite sweet about them...like they could be the home of a bird who nests inside it. The bird houses link with my ideas of minature models, like my village, and also the dolls houses which interest me.

A bird house can be simple and pretty straight forward, afterall they are simply there for the purpose of being a place for the birds to eat their food.
A bird house can be so much more than this though! i imagine the houses like an actual home, where the birds can rest and get comfy on the carpet floors, i'm going to get started on making some bird houses and see if any birds enjoy them!
